Designed as a modern evolution of the F28 turbojet regional airliner series and first taking to the skies in 1993, the F70 is a direct descendant of the larger F100 regional jet. The F70 is 4.62m (15.2ft) shorter than its larger sibling, with a maximum capacity of 80 passengers.
