The heliport in St. Johann (Pongau) is located in the province of Salzburg in Austria, directly on the Salzach river. A private TV station once filmed a series at the old heliport against this picturesque Alpine backdrop, the main character of which was a striking rescue helicopter. The heliport as it can be found today around 50 km south of Salzburg was completed in August 2015 after a year of construction. The site is home to Heli Austria's company headquarters with the entire administration and technical department. The premises also house the two rescue helicopters Martin 1 and Martin 10.…
