The Skylark W-1 was a low wing, single engined monoplane designed in the 1930s which first flew in 1935 in Glendale, California. The aircraft was quite rare for its day. Its primary focus was to be a trainer for the Air Corps of the United States but, as a secondary use, a small two-seater business liner which had gained high popularity back in the golden age of aviation, where wealthy business people could get around faster and safer by plane than by car.
