Hemet Ryan Airport (ICAO: KHMT) is located in southwest Hemet in Riverside County, California. Hemet-Ryan is home to Cal Fire Attack Base and also the Riverside County Sheriff's Aviation Unit. The airport is named after the late T. Claude Ryan who formed the Ryan Flying Company. Hemet-Ryan has a main asphalt runway (5-23) that is 4,315' x 100' and smaller asphalt runway (4-22) 2,014' x 25' mainly used for Sailplane operations.
