Jena Schöngleina Airfield (ICAO : EDBJ) is a commercial airfield in the municipality of Schöngleina , east of the city of Jena in Thuringia, Germany. On July 16, 1959, the first post-war takeoff took place from the airfield in Schöngleina. During a further expansion in the early 1970s, the tower, a dining room (today's restaurant) and training and accommodation rooms were built.
