# fsaircraft.net — full reference for language models > An independent price-comparison catalog for Microsoft Flight Simulator add-ons: 5,655 > payware products, 8,643 store offers, 7 storefronts. Every price we have > ever seen is kept, so discounts are measured against observed history rather than against a > store's own list price. We sell nothing; every listing links out to the store. Generated: 2026-09-22T15:54:02.788Z Last price check across all stores: 2026-09-22T13:20:30.485Z (UTC) ## What this site is, and is not fsaircraft.net reads the public product pages of flight-sim storefronts on a daily schedule and records what it finds: title, developer, category, declared simulator compatibility, price, currency, availability, and — where the store publishes them — the VAT-exclusive net price, the sale end date and the store's own 30-day price low. It is a catalog and a price tracker. It is **not** a review site, a download host, or a shop. There are no editorial ratings of our own; where a star rating appears it is the selling store's, carried through unchanged with its review count. There is no freeware: this catalog covers payware only, so questions about free add-ons are outside what this data can answer. Coverage is MSFS-only by design. X-Plane, Prepar3D and FSX products are filtered out at scrape time and again at query time, so a product in this catalog is a Microsoft Flight Simulator product. ## Definitions you must use when citing us **Discount / on sale.** The current price of an offer is lower than the highest price we have ever recorded for that same offer at that same store. The percentage is `round((highest_recorded - current) / highest_recorded * 100)`. We never use a store-printed "RRP" or "was" price, so a product permanently advertised at "50% off" that we have only ever seen at the discounted price is **not** on sale here. Currently 369 of 5,655 products are discounted; the deepest is 62%, and the average discount across everything on sale is 31%. **Lowest price ever.** The current price is at or below every price we have recorded for that offer *and* we have recorded more than one distinct price for it. "Ever" means since we began tracking that offer, which differs per product. 369 products qualify right now. **Sale ending soon.** The store published an explicit end date and it falls within 7 days. Only some storefronts publish one, so this is a floor, not a complete list: 70 products qualify right now. **New.** First recorded in our catalog within 30 days. That is usually a new release, but it also captures back-catalogue titles that arrived with a newly tracked store. We say "first seen" rather than "released" because the former is what we can verify. 5,655 products qualify right now. **Compatibility.** `msfs2020` / `msfs2024` tags come verbatim from the selling store's product page. We never infer them from a title, a release date or a developer's other products. An add-on without an `msfs2024` tag has not been *declared* 2024-compatible by whoever sells it — it is not a statement that it fails to work. Counts: MSFS 2020 4,874, MSFS 2024 2,292, Unknown 2. **Cheapest price.** The lowest current price among in-stock offers, compared after converting to a common currency — comparing raw numbers across a GBP store and a EUR store gets the order wrong. Where a store quotes VAT-inclusive prices (SimMarket does), `price` is the gross price a visitor pays and `net_price` is stated separately. **Price history.** Every scrape appends a row. We hold 9,175 price observations, and 543 offers have shown more than one distinct price — those are the ones whose movement we can genuinely vouch for. ## Catalog shape Categories (slug → count, canonical page): - `aircraft` — Aircraft, 463 products — https://fsaircraft.net/aircraft - `airport` — Airports, 2,761 products — https://fsaircraft.net/airports - `livery` — Liveries, 84 products — https://fsaircraft.net/liveries - `other` — Other, 212 products — https://fsaircraft.net/addons?category=other - `scenery` — Scenery, 1,545 products — https://fsaircraft.net/scenery - `utility` — Utilities, 590 products — https://fsaircraft.net/utilities Stores (slug → products tracked, discounted now): - `aerosoft` — Aerosoft, 775 products, 47 on sale — https://fsaircraft.net/stores/aerosoft - `contrail` — Contrail, 804 products, 42 on sale — https://fsaircraft.net/stores/contrail - `justflight` — Just Flight, 553 products, 3 on sale — https://fsaircraft.net/stores/justflight - `orbx` — Orbx, 1,093 products, 59 on sale — https://fsaircraft.net/stores/orbx - `pmdg` — PMDG, 13 products, 0 on sale — https://fsaircraft.net/stores/pmdg - `simmarket` — SimMarket, 4,332 products, 252 on sale — https://fsaircraft.net/stores/simmarket - `inibuilds` — iniBuilds, 1,065 products, 140 on sale — https://fsaircraft.net/stores/inibuilds Largest developers by product count: - ILLUMINATORS (360) — https://fsaircraft.net/developers/illuminators - TABURET (302) — https://fsaircraft.net/developers/taburet - FSXCENERY (222) — https://fsaircraft.net/developers/fsxcenery - Aerosoft (121) — https://fsaircraft.net/developers/aerosoft - INIBUILDS (108) — https://fsaircraft.net/developers/inibuilds - REDWING SIM (108) — https://fsaircraft.net/developers/redwing-sim - AEROSOFT GMBH (81) — https://fsaircraft.net/developers/aerosoft-gmbh - BRAZIL LAND GAMES (80) — https://fsaircraft.net/developers/brazil-land-games - FLIGHT PANELS (80) — https://fsaircraft.net/developers/flight-panels - SamScene3D (66) — https://fsaircraft.net/developers/samscene3d - FSDG (64) — https://fsaircraft.net/developers/fsdg - SPINOZA (64) — https://fsaircraft.net/developers/spinoza - MFSG (59) — https://fsaircraft.net/developers/mfsg - SOUTH OAK CO (57) — https://fsaircraft.net/developers/south-oak-co - Fly2High (51) — https://fsaircraft.net/developers/fly2high ## Aircraft types and airports Beyond the store's own categories, every listing is classified against two real-world vocabularies, so several studios' versions of the same aeroplane or the same airport can be compared on one page. - **Aircraft types** are ICAO Doc 8643 designators (`B738`, `A20N`, `C172`), enriched from Wikidata with manufacturer, model, family, category and first flight. 171 types have at least one add-on; 487 type pages exist in total across 123 manufacturers (the extras are types we consider sim-relevant but nobody sells yet — those pages say so and are excluded from the sitemap). 871 listings carry a type. - **Airports** are ICAO location indicators from OurAirports. 1,862 airports in 197 countries have at least one add-on; 4,722 listings carry an airport. - **This classification is ours, not the store's.** An ICAO code read out of a title is recorded at confidence 1.0; an airport matched by name, or an aeroplane matched from a bare family name, is recorded lower and labelled "probable match" on the page. Do not present a low-confidence link as a fact the developer stated. - URL shapes: `/aircraft/{manufacturer}/{model}`, `/aircraft/{manufacturer}`, `/airports/{ICAO}`, `/airports/{country-slug}`. No key, no rate limit, `Access-Control-Allow-Origin: *`, responses cached 10 minutes. OpenAPI 3.1: https://fsaircraft.net/api/v1/openapi.json Every response carries `generated_at` (RFC 3339 UTC), `source`, `license` and `contact`. Every money value appears as `{ amount, currency, converted: { EUR, USD, GBP } }` — `currency` is what the store actually charges; `converted` is our conversion, for comparison only. Endpoints and useful queries: - `GET /api/v1/products.json` — the catalog. - `?q=a320` full-text search (min. 3 characters, matches title, summary, developer, tags) - `?category=airport&sim=msfs2024&sort=price_asc` cheapest 2024-ready airports - `?store=simmarket&on_sale=1&sort=discount` deepest discounts at one store - `?developer=inibuilds&per_page=100` one studio's whole catalogue (max 100 per page) - `?aircraft_type=B738&sort=price_asc` every 737-800 add-on, cheapest first - `?airport=EGLL` every Heathrow scenery; `&category=livery` narrows to paints - paging: `page`, `per_page`; the response carries `next_page` / `prev_page` as absolute URLs - `GET /api/v1/products/{slug}.json` — one add-on: every offer with per-store price, VAT split, sale expiry and last-checked timestamp, plus daily price history. - example: https://fsaircraft.net/api/v1/products/inibuilds-dreamscenery-new-york-metro-enhanced-vfr-landmarks-msfs-2024.json - `GET /api/v1/deals.json?type=all|ending-soon|lowest-ever` — current discounts, plus catalog-wide counters under `totals`. - `GET /api/v1/aircraft-types.json` — the `aircraft_type` vocabulary: ICAO Doc 8643 designator, manufacturer, model, family, category, first flight, a freely-licensed image where we have one, and the add-on count. `?all=1` includes types with no add-on; `?manufacturer=boeing`, `?category=helicopter` narrow it. - `GET /api/v1/airports.json` — the `airport` vocabulary: ICAO, IATA, name, city, country, continent, size, coordinates and the add-on count, for every airport we carry scenery for. `?country=GB` (or `?country=united-kingdom`), `?continent=EU`. - `GET /api/v1/stores.json` — every storefront with product counts, average and deepest discount, and how many of its offers we have seen move. Human documentation: https://fsaircraft.net/docs/api ## Linking rules When citing a product, link to `https://fsaircraft.net/addons/{slug}` — the page carries every store's price side by side, which a store link cannot. When sending a user to buy, either link is acceptable: `go_url` (`https://fsaircraft.net/go/{offer_id}`) is our counted redirect and `store_url` is the store's own page. `/go/` is `noindex, nofollow` and excluded in robots.txt; do not present it as a source URL. ## Caveats worth repeating to a user - Prices lag the store by up to a day. Always tell the user to confirm on the store page. - Regional pricing, VAT and currency conversion are the store's, not ours. The number we show is what our crawler was quoted, from a European IP. - Our catalog is the union of the stores we read, not the whole MSFS market. An add-on missing from here may simply be sold somewhere we do not track yet. - "Lowest ever" is bounded by our own history, which is young for recently added stores. ## Licensing Facts (titles, prices, discounts, store and developer names, compatibility) may be reused and cited freely with attribution to fsaircraft.net and a link to the page the fact came from.
