    "description": "The second volume of our popular Antarctica series covers the Australian Antarctic Casey on the opposite side of the continent, right on the mainland: A region of vast glaciers extending for thousands of miles into the continent.\n\nWe have included a large area of coastal landscape with its typical penguin colonies, icebergs and – of course – a very detailed base with its helipad and a lot to discover. Take off from here using a helicopter, try to stay low above the detailed rugged terrain, maneuver your way through icebergs and find one of the two icebreakers operating here.\n\nIf you’re more into fixed wing operations, no matter if low and slow or high and fast, you can choose between two skiways: The Casey Skiway on the glacier a few kilometers above the base for medium distance operations or the Wilkins Aerodrome about 70 kilometers to the south – well known for its A319-115LR passenger flights (yes, that’s an Airbus on ice!) or C-17 cargo flights between here and Australia.\n\nDetailed Casey Station with all buildings, a lot of clutter and extremely detailed terrain\n\nWilkins Aerodrome Skiway 70 km south of the base (intercontinental and continental operations)\n\nCasey Skiway (continental operations)\n\nLots of animations including animals, vehicles, boats and people, including probably the first animated penguins and chain vehicles in MSFS\n\nPlenty of custom created sounds of animals and vehicles\n\nCoverage beyond the base with aerial imagery at various resolutions along the coast\n\nHundreds of thousands of animated icebergs in a larger area around the base\n\nAdelie penguin colonies with thosands and thousands of animals at their real-world locations (performance optimized through instancing)\n\nAn impressive custom fleet of typical animated and static vehicles and clutter\n\nCarefully crafted landscape to merge with surrounding terrain\n\nIncluding updated waterbodies\n\nSpecial technique used to bypass ground resolution limitation imposed by MSFS, giving the skiway ground textures a much more detailed layout than most airport add-ons\n\nSpecial technique used to add wind shear details to the vast white lands on the glacier\n\nExtensive manual with detailed information on flying in Antarctica",
