This new version also brings numerous improvements to the aircraft's systems and flight dynamics, along with new features designed to further enhance the overall flight simulation experience.\n\nThe Dassault Alpha Jet* is a training and tactical-support twin-jet tandem two-seater. It was designed for a program jointly run by France’s and Germany’s air forces. It is used by the Patrouille de France** aerobatics team since 1981.\n\nIt was the first aircraft produced conjointly by Dassault and Breguet. Planned to succeed the Fouga Magister and the Lockheed T 33 as advanced jet trainer, it was undertaken in cooperation with the German Dornier Corporation. Specifications were changed during the development.\n\nAs a symbol of combined French and German excellence, the Alpha Jet* could not represent better several generations of aeronautical presence and dreams. As well as still being the basic platform for initial military training, and having trained hundreds and hundreds of pilots, the Alphajet is a jewel to fly for all passionate simmers.\n\nWe have tried to get as close as possible to a study level aircraft, with the information publicly available on the aircraft, and the many interviews and feedback from pilots. We'll be continuing to refine it with this aim in mind, and to take advantage of feedback from enthusiasts, pilots and specialists in this thoroughbred horse.\n\nThe flight model faithfully represents the best that can be achieved with flight simulator, the aircraft being optimized for the modern flightsim aerodynamic engine. The aircraft is thus “interpreted” in the game, with its aerodynamic qualities directly calculated from its geometry.\n\nThe Alpha Jet* will give you immense pleasure, whether flying as a wingman, at the controls of an acrobatic team, in hyper-dynamic evolutions such as a solo-display, or in very low altitude tactical flight, the experience will be unequalled.\n\nAlpha Jet – Features Included\n\nHighly detailed and optimised 3D model, based on real aircraft interior and exterior 3D scans.\n\nFully modelled front and rear cockpits, with animated and functional instruments, switches, and controls.\nRealistic flight dynamics, carefully tuned for aerobatics, formation flying, and precision manoeuvres, updated flight model.\n\nAuthentic LARZAC 4C6 turbofan engine simulation, accurately modelled for realistic performance across all flight levels.\n\nRealistic engine start-up procedures, faithfully reproducing the aircraft's operating sequences.\n\nAdvanced aircraft systems, including improved electrical systems, ventilation, icing management, and realistic system interactions.\n\nGround Power Unit (GPU) support for external electrical power during ground operations.\n\nHighly accurate fuel system, including realistic fuel distribution, weight and balance, and optional external fuel tanks.\n\nThree-colour smoke system, now fully compatible with multiplayer operations.\n\nComprehensive interactive checklists\n\nAuthentic avionics, carefully developed to reproduce the aircraft's original instruments and faithfully reproduced VOR/ILS and TACAN navigation systems.\n\nIntegrated GNS 530 GPS units for modern navigation capabilities.\n\nElectronic Flight Bag (EFB) providing aircraft configuration, system management, frequency presets, fuel management, and additional flight utilities.\n\nAuthentic interior and exterior sounds, recorded from real Alpha Jet aircraft and carefully integrated into the simulation.\n\nImmersive cockpit lighting, featuring realistic backlighting, instrument illumination, and adjustable day/night brightness.\n\nHigh-G wing flex simulation, reproducing structural deformation during demanding aerobatic manoeuvres.\n\nRealistic landing gear shock absorber behaviour, accurately reflecting aircraft weight and landing conditions.\n\nDetailed aircraft animations, with dedicated code reproducing the behaviour of key Alpha Jet components.\n\nInteractive aircraft walkaround, featuring additional access panels, inspection hatches, and ground preparation procedures.\n\nRealistic ground equipment, including protective covers, safety devices, and wheel chocks.\n\nExpanded failure simulation, introducing additional aircraft malfunctions and emergency situations — be careful when jettisoning the canopy!\n\nEnhanced visual rendering, including improved shadows and refined aircraft appearance.\nTwenty liveries, including all ten aircraft of the Patrouille de France.\n\nTwo additional Canadian liveries, provided as visual alternatives without full Alpha Jet A variant modelling.\n\nNumerous bug fixes and improvements, including issues reported by the community in the MSFS 2020 version.\n\nOnline flight manual, available through our Discord community.\n\nOngoing development and free updates, bringing further features, improvements, and refinements to the Alpha Jet experience.\n\n* Trademark of DASSAULT Aviation – Official Licensed Product – Developed by VIRGA STUDIO\n\n** Trademark of Armée de l'Air et de l'Espace", "summary": "This new Dassault Alpha Jet* edition has been fully converted to the native MSFS 2024 format to take advantage of the simulator's latest advancements.
