Powered by a 1200hp engine and a 4 or 5-bladed propeller, the PC-12 can easily operate out of short, unprepared strips as well as paved runways, while its superb engineering ensures a smooth flight even in adverse weather conditions. Versatile by design, the PC-12 can be configured for use as an executive transport, commuter, cargo carrier or even air ambulance. Developed with the help of Pilatus Aircraft and Fly7 Executive Aviation, the SWS PC-12 Legacy aspires to be our best and most varied turboprop rendition in Microsoft Flight Simulator to date.\n\nVisual Features\n\nHigh quality model of the aircraft's exterior with many custom animations:\n\n4 and 5-bladed propeller.\n\nTrailing link landing gear.\n\nNose wheel steering with free castering.\n\nEngine bypass flap and springs (connecting to landing gear).\n\nCustom flap and actuator animations.\n\nTrim tabs.\n\nAnimated de-icing boots.\n\nFS2024-native propeller animation with prop beta/reverse.\n\nHorizontal stabilator trim.\n\nPropeller vortices.\n\nPreflight covers: engine, chocks, pitot tube, angle of attack vanes, static ports, windshield.\n\nPreflight inspection: engine cowling, fuel filter compartment, tail compartment.\n\nCelebratory items: on special dates, the aircraft will be decorated internally and externally.\n\nHigh quality cockpit interior modelling using detail textures to retain detail while reducing texture size. Numerous custom animations, including:\n\nStick shaker and pusher.\n\nSun visors.\n\nSun shade.\n\nGust lock.\n\nArmrests.\n\nMovable lights and AC vents.\n\nThree different cabin configurations with, again, many custom animations:\n\nExits.\n\nWindow shades.\n\nTray tables (executive cabin).\n\nSnacks and drinks that can be placed on the tables (executive cabin).\n\nSeat armrests and tilting.\n\nToilet door, light, flushing (executive cabin).\n\nDrawers, gravity affected (executive cabin).\n\nFlight Model and Systems\n\nThe SWS team were flown in the PC-12 and then spent a week training in the PC-12 simulator at the Fly7 Training Center, in Lausanne, Switzerland. Being able to experience first-hand how the real aircraft handles, we strived to recreate it as closely as MSFS allows. The flight model uses the new FS2024-native CFD simulation and some highlights include:\n\nEngine torque effect on yaw.\n\nCorrect handling response.\n\nExceptional stability in inclement weather.\n\nRealistic flap deployment timings, lift and drag effects, including crosswind limitations.\n\nNose down approach attitude, correctly reproduced down to flaps 30 (MSFS limitation at 40).\n\nCustom nose wheel steering with free-castering operation when differential brakes are used.\n\nCustom fuel control simulation allowing correct response across all altitudes, idle dwell and reverse.\n\nManual override control.\n\nCorrect propeller beta and reverse operation.\n\nCustom ITT simulation including altitude limiting.\n\nSystems\n\nNumerous custom systems are included with the SWS PC-12.\n\nCustom EFIS50 with map and weather modes.\n\nRevue Thommen DC20 Chronometer.\n\nCustom aileron-rudder interconnect system.\n\nCustom yaw damper.\n\nStick shaker and pusher.\n\nEnvironmental Control System.\n\nCabin Pressurisation Control System.\n\nUsable circuit breakers.\n\nCompatibility with PMS50 GTN, TDS GTNXi. Options for instrument changes included in the aircraft's own\nEFB.\n\nPassenger entertainment tablet with various functions, ranging from games to customizable characters.\n\nCustomized EFB containing manuals, weight and balance, aircraft configuration options, instrument switching, and more.\n\nSounds\n\nThe SWS PC-12 contains more than 2800 authentic sounds recorded from multiple real aircraft to realistically represent the aircraft inside and out:\n\nDifferent sounds for 4 and 5-bladed propellers.\n\nAuthentic engine sounds.\n\nGear and flap actuators.\n\nAir conditioning.\n\nAircraft electromechanical sounds such as pumps, inverters.\n\nExits.\n\nAural warnings and avionic sounds.\n\nAudible switches, levers, doors, windows. If it moves, it can be heard.\n\nMany ambient sounds.\n\nLiveries\n\n11 total liveries, with nine custom and one white livery in different interior configurations:\n\nBase (white)\n\nFly7 OH-JEM (4-bladed, executive).\n\nFly7 OH-JEM (4-bladed, cargo).\n\nTradewind N881TW (4-bladed, commuter).\n\nFly7 HB-FVA (5-bladed, executive).\n\nFly7 OH-DEN (5-bladed, executive).\n\nFly7 OH-FUK (5-bladed, executive).\n\nFly7 OH-PBL (5-bladed, executive).\n\nSafari Wings (5-bladed, executive).\n\nSafari Wings (5-bladed, commuter).\n\nN2309H", "summary": "Now upgraded for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
