The airline has its maintenance facility and crew training center located on the south west side of the airport.\n\nDetailed exhibition Aviodrome\n\nThe national aviation museum Aviodrome provides a wide variety of aircraft on static display, as well as a replica of the 1928 Schiphol terminal building.\n\nModelled interiors\n\nOn 31 March 2015, parliament and the Dutch government approved the Schiphol Group’s expansion plans for Lelystad Airport. Although the works has almost been completed, there are no commercial flights departing from the airfield as of yet.
